I've just registered us for CBL7. I think I've now got a current list of semi-active members but if I mispelt or left someone out please leave a note on the forum.

..which reminds me we've now got a new forum, in case you hadn't noticed.

Well I hope we can make a good run of the tournament this year. They don't come around often so it's worth setting some time aside to take part and establish a name for ourselves.

I reinstalled TA last weekend for a quick multiplayer session and there were still plenty of us around interested in having a game. Considering many of us live in very different time zones 6 people is a pretty impressive turnout! :)

I had a talk with the chaps on the TAGamers.net, previously known as TAGL, to see if they could sort us out with a forum. With most of the playing TA fans hanging around on their forums and a TADRS it seems like the obvious choice.

That unreliable scamp Metalikat decided to call it quits on DEW clan so our board went kaput. At this point I'm just linking to the main TAU forum. A dedicated clan board would only die a horrible death. There are plenty of cool discussions going on in this site so it seems like the sound option.

I'll probably be getting a new PC and a broadband in the next year when I get the money together so maybe, just maybe, BLITZ_Molloy will make his comeback to multiplayer TA. Be afraid.. it's coming.. Summer 2004.

D'oh! DEW Clan never renewed their domain name. We'll wait a few weeks to see if they get their act together and get some new hosting and if that doesn't happen I'll see about getting another board here on TAUniverse.

Hello guys. It's the year 2003 and I feel I might as well update the site. The forum url has been changed by Metalikat/Ratfoo. You can now find the home of BLITZ irrelevant chat at DEW PHPBB. Those who have yet to contribute or have been innactive for 3+ years are now encoraged to have a go. Registering doesn't take a jiffy. Go on, you know you want to.

Sorry about all the server errors. TAUniverse was having big problems. Everything should be fine and dandy now except for the downloads.. which I'll fix someday when I have the time to upload all the junk on my POS 33k connection.

If your looking for good demo recordings a new review site has opened since I updated last. TADRS has some real scorchers - just the sort of thing rusty old cranks like us need to regenerate out L337ness.
Welcome To Our Newest RUSH Member 21042002
We've got a new RUSH member: RUSH_RedEagle. He's a very nice guy from Portugal and a very good player to boot! Our tryout game was a huge Painted Desert battle that took about 2 hours to play. I just finished now and I'm exausted. Oh and BTW will one of you guys get on Zone and promote Templar38 to BLITZ. He really deserves it at this point.
Files Section Initiated 18042002
I've beefed out the files section a bit today. All the BT and CC stuff you'll need as well as a comprehensive 3rd Party Maps section. The forums still need a bit of tweaking but will be set right soon. i met XXX again today on PhoenixWorx - he's using the name BLITZ_FLASH there not because hes a lagger but because his other name is taken. I set him as leader on PW because he's online more there than me so just log on and he'll set you up.
Ground Whore 13042002
I was talking to XXX yesterday. He still only plays GoW and GD2 all the time :). With a preordained ally to share energy so he can go fast FF. Talk about a one map wonder :P. Anyway, he says he'll help with the website a bit - set up newpro and that sort of thing. I'm filling out the different sections now. Just give it another few days till we're all done. I might start doing a proper demo page too with a little review and summary of each one. If XXX helps a bit I'm sure we could manage it. Also did a new comic if any of you still follow the escapades of Jim and Bert. More stuff at the Ubercrack Shack website!
New Design 13042002
I really hated that last design after a while so heres yet another one. It's a bit wierd maybe but thats partly why I like it. The other was too dull and samely. Don't be surprised if everything doesn't work 100%. I have alot more work to do on it. That reminds me... must add us to the Top 100. Don't forget to vote for us!

Just updating to say hello. I've been playing quite a bit of Total Annihilation. I uploaded a full demo too. You can download it here. It's a demo of me ending up going 2vs1 for ages because of a crappy ally. All that comm rushing was fun :).
